Selena Gomez's co-star Jennifer Stone has shot down rumours that Gomez is dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner.
Jennifer, 16, stars alongside Gomez, also 16, pictured, in Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place.
Rumours started when the pair were spotted out together at a number of restaurants around Vancouver, where they are both filming separate films.
Jennifer said: "Just because they're hanging out together doesn't mean they're dating, you know."
She added to E! Online: "A lot of girls have guy friends."
Gomez is filming the flick Ramona and Beezus, while Lautner, 17, is filming the Twilight sequel New Moon.
But Jennifer said: "They're just friends."
She added: "She's friends with guys!"
