Selena Gomez apparently dropped in to see her rumored ex-beau Nick Jonas perform with his band The Administration at Detroit's Fox Theater on Saturday night, and according to an eyewitness account, the Wizards of Waverly Place star got a tad emotional when NiJo busted out his soulful new ballad, "Stay."
The audience member reveals,
"Selena Gomez was sitting directly in front of me at the Nick Jonas concert in Detroit. She was crying during 'Stay.' She kept covering her face and shaking her head."Luckily, Sel's dad was on hand, and was "comforting her" during her vulnerable moment.
But what about the song—a seeming plea to an ex to set aside the problems of the past and just, um, stay—could have sent Gomez into such an emotional tizzy?

UPDATE: According to certain accounts, Selena's knight in shining armor at the concert wasn't her father, but Nick's. It's nice to know that someone in that family knows how to treat a lady, anyway...
